How the fundraiser works

This offering is designed so that participation directly sustains community teaching and broader access.

  • 1. Teaching is covered first

Funds raised first go toward the cost of facilitating each practice, so the labour of teaching is resourced with integrity.

  • 2. Surplus supports scholarships

After teaching costs are met, remaining funds are added to the Radical Darshan scholarship programme.

  • 3. Access is widened

Scholarship support is intended for Black, Brown, Global Majority, Queer, Trans, Non-binary and folks with disability

  • WHO THIS IS FOR

This space is for anyone wanting to practice in community while contributing to more equitable access. Come as you are and practice in community.

  • HOW PRACTICES ARE SHAPED

Each practice is shaped to the needs of the season or to what is alive in our wider social reality. Rather than repeating a fixed format, practices are responsive, intentional and held with attention to both personal and collective care.

What the practice may include

Every session draws from the breadth of yoga. Depending on the teacher and the moment, practices may weave together devotional, energetic, contemplative, restorative and movement based practices.

Integrated practice elements

  • Mantrā as grounding, resonance and Bhakti

  • Mudrā and prāṇāyāma to support life force energy and regulation

  • Yoga āsana, Haṭha yoga and Yin yoga for steadiness, mobility and spaciousness

  • Meditation and Yoga Nidrā for rest, witnessing and integration

  • Other aspects of yoga as they become relevant to the season, teacher or collective moment

Practice with care. Share with purpose.

Mondays are an invitation to nourish your own practice while helping sustain access for others in the Radical Darshan community.
